Summer can be sweltering. Lucky for us, Edina has just the treat to beat the heat. Edina Magazine dishes on five favorite frozen yogurt and ice cream parlors.

 

Press releases were written about the Dodge Caravan. Blue and green decals of Edina-related institutions were emblazoned on its white walls. And a company-wide mission set out to fill the minivan with food and other donations.

 

You might take your kidneys for granted. But if you heard the story of Edinans Kathleen Carter and Kim Pendergast, you might give thanks to those fist-sized body purifiers that work hard for you every day. Carter and Pendergast graduated from Edina High School together in 1979.

Graham Woodward remembers his parents putting a basketball into his hands at a young age.  Clearly, it paid off. The Edina High School senior became the all-time leading point scorer in January, and was one of 5 finalists for 2013 Mr. Basketball in Minnesota.

 

To celebrate the City of Edina’s 125th anniversary, the Edina Art Center and the Edina Historical Society will host “EdinaScapes,” June 27–July 31.

 

Enterprise Edina is a new TV show that debuted in February, featuring the best local businesses in our town.
